Medical and surgical care for diseases of the retina and vitreous.

About the Practice

Watson Retina is a subspecialty ophthalmology practice focused on medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care in a setting that is calm, straightforward, and easy to access.

We use modern diagnostic imaging and current treatment options to manage conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vein occlusion, and retinal tears and detachments.

The practice is independently owned by Dr. Richard Watson, a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon. Limiting the practice to retina care allows us to focus on complex retinal conditions and to work closely with your other eye doctors.

We strive to treat each patient with respect, to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, and to coordinate care with the doctors who refer patients to us.
